Be careful with your money!, October 25, 2010 This review is from: Silk'n SensEpil Hair Removal Device (Misc.) After much research on the internet, and reading some positive reviews, I was very excited to try this product. Well, it didn't work for me. I used the highest setting for four to five treatments and noticed absolutely no change. I called the company to verify I was using the product properly and I was. Since I was approaching the refund time frame, I was getting concerned I was wasting my money on a product that does not work. So, I contacted the company and after several phone calls/emails they finally gave me an RMA to send to send it back for a return. (It was still in the time frame for returns and I had all of the packaging it came with, so I was still eligible for a return.) Three weeks later, they still have not refunded me. First they tried to tell me that my package never arrived, but fortunately I had a delivery confirmation to prove that it did. So they found it and said my refund was being issued that day, a week later, no refund. My emails and messages I left for... Read more

Works wonderful. Hardly need to shave anymore., August 21, 2011 This review is from: Silk'n SensEpil Hair Removal Device (Misc.) I have light skin and medium to dark brown hair. Most of my hair is thin (except my bikini line.) I've been doing treatments for nearly 6 months with great results. I use it on my face (sideburns, upper lip, and chin) my arms, bikini line, and underarms. I've had the best results with the hair on my arms. After one treatment only about 5% of the hair grew back. After 4 treatments I only see a couple of strays that have grown back. The hair on my face has taken many more treatments (about 10), but the re-growth is only about 20% at this point. One of my underarms is not growing any hair back (10 treatments). My bikini line is down to about 50% regrowth with 7 treatments I think. All of the hair I have treated either doesn't grow back or grows back thinner. I also get much less ingrown hairs and irritation when shaving. Results are different for different people, but you have to be patient and follow the treatment schedule as they recommend. Don't expect overnight results.

Amazing but a Tedious Hair Removal Process, September 17, 2011 By This review is from: Silk'n SensEpil Hair Removal Device (Misc.) This thing is amazing, it really delivers. After a year of usage, I can happily say that 90% of my underarm and forearm hair is gone. I have been using this device once or twice every month. Be prepared for excrutiating pain though as the zaps hurt quite a bit. Just do not expect immediate results and be very patient and diligent with the usage.
The only reason this product gets four stars and not five is because you have to purchase the refill cartridges frequently to get the desired level of hair removal. For instance, I went through 5-7 refills to remove all the hair on my forearm and they are not cheap at $45 per cartridge. But as it is probably still cheaper than getting it done professionally, I am happy with the product.
One more thing, I know it says to not use it on your face but I do it anyway and I noticed much less facial hair as well.
